Positioning the Hydro-Jet
We feed a camera into the drain cleanout to locate the exact position of the obstruction. Once we find the blockage, we feed the hydro-jet hose into the pipe toward it. We move the camera out of the way before jetting begins so the water pressure does not damage the lens.
Clearing the Line and Verifying
Beaverton experiences occasional winter freezes that bring some freeze-thaw movement to the ground, which can shift underground pipes and trap debris. The hydro-jet nozzle breaks apart these obstructions and flushes them out. After clearing a line by hydro-jetting, we inspect it again with the camera to check that the debris is gone.
